Katherine Lloyd, manager at Pondarosa Stables, hangs out with Cholla in Phoenix. Phoenix can no longer afford to own the horses that were used to patrol the trails of South Mountain park. So Pondarosa Stables, a South Mountain Park institution, has taken in some of the horses.
