Sugarcreek update: Campaigning does work, this is good news -
Thank you all for writing, calling and inundating the USDA in Ohio and supporting AA's mission !

According to court documents obtained by Animals’ Angels, the financial institutions already responded and disclosed the amount of money available for garnishment.
Baker was originally ordered to pay $162,800.00 by the USDA on October 1st, 2008. However, Baker refused to pay and called the decision and the charges against him “bogus”. On October 27, 2010, the Ohio District Court confirmed the earlier decision and ordered Baker to pay $172,621.66. In March 2011, Animals’ Angels issued a release questioning government officials why this debt has not been collected and calling supporters to action. Ohio officials received thousands of letters, email and phone calls.
