Three Angles Farms is located in Lebanon, TN and is in the business of sending horses to slaughter for human consumption. June 25th, 2012 - A private citizen files a complaint with United States Department of Agriculture Office of Inspector General for Three Angels Farms being in violation of the USDA 28 regulation of having livestock on board a trailer for over 28 hours. (see trailing information below)
June 12, 2012 - A private citizen files a complaint with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in regards to the trailing of Three Angels Farms semi from Lebanon, TN to Presidio, TX. During this trailing, the Three Angels Farms driver did not follow FMCSA regulations. On June 12, 2012 a Three Angels Farms truck hauling horses to slaughter had a trailer break in half outside of Nashville, TN. As a result of this incident one horse had to be euthanized due to its injuries.
Just six days later on June 18th, 2012 after the trailer breaking apart on the highway, Tennessee Department of Public Service stopped four Three Angels Farms semis. During this inspection the agency discovered multiple violations and placed three of the four semis out of service due to defective brakes, tire tread separation, cab body improperly secured to frame and other violations. Two of the four trailers that were used to haul the horses, were also put out of service due to multiple violations.   Read MORE.....
