I am very happy to say that my video from the meetings with BLM re the Pickens sanctuary is finished and can be viewed Here.
I've also posted on my Facebook page. Please grab it and share. Although Ms. Pickens had a laudable idea for a sanctuary in which to release wild horses from short-term holding, BLM's plan to literally destroy at least one -- and possibly all three -- of the Herd Management Areas her ranch/sanctuary sits on makes her plan a travesty and sets a deadly precedent boding ill for the future of our wild horses and burros.
We must be definitive and united in telling them in no uncertain terms this is not acceptable, and we do not want the plan to move forward.
September 19 is the last day to comment on this phase of the project. Perhaps we can nip this in the bud if we can rouse enough response.
