BLM Clears Utah Holding Facility with Deplorable Conditions BUT Says Most Horses Should Be Moved

Officials from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) have “exonerated” a short-term holding facility accused of inhumane conditions. Yet, the agency’s recommendation that most of the horses be moved to new facilities confirms confirms The Cloud Foundation‘s allegation, as documented in a video released by the group this month, that recently-captured wild horses at the Salt Lake Regional Wild Horse and Burro Center were forced to live in knee-deep mud, feces and urine in conditions that were both unacceptable and inhumane.
