A controversial proposal to locate a horse slaughtering plant in south-central Missouri was met with a roadblock. KYTV reports Unified Equine proposed to build a plant in between Mountain Grove and Cabool. Residents objected to the company's plan as it was feared the plant would ruin groundwater and create higher crime rates.
