Please join the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and the American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign (AWHPC) in calling for an immediate halt to all summer wild horse roundups. The urgent call is being made after AWHPC's Deniz Bolbol returned from nine days of public observation of the Triple B roundup to report that tiny foals are routinely being chased by helicopters in miles-long stampedes. These babies try so hard to keep up with their families, but often fall behind and are roped and brought into the trap by wranglers.
The majority of the nine horses who have been killed to date in the Triple B roundup, which is currently underway in northeastern Nevada, are foals. The tragedy could be prevented by prohibiting the conduct of roundups in the summer, a time when foals are young and vulnerable. Take action below to tell Congress to intervene in this unnecessary abuse of America's mustangs.
