Greetings everyone,
CALL IN DAY FOR WILD HORSES
1. Please telephone Sen. Dianne Feinstein at (202) 224-3841.
Ask to speak with the person taking calls on wild horses and burros.
Politely tell the person taking the call that you are calling about the wild horse roundup going on right now in Nevada, and to ask Senator Feinstein to please intervene as a matter of extreme urgency, and get it stopped immediately.
2. Please telephone President Obama: (202) 456-1111.
Tell the person answering the phone you are calling about our wild horses and burros, and ask the President to (1) order an immediate halt to the roundup going on right now in Nevada, and (2) order a moratorium on all roundups of our wild horses and burros until Congress decides the future of the wild horse and burro program.
Can't call? Phone calls are highly preferred, but you can also fax or email the messages above.
Fax Sen. Feinstein: (202) 228-3954

Already called a dozen times? Please call again. A bit nervous? Relax and practice what you are going to say a few times till you feel comfortable, take a deep breath and dial that number!
Our wild horses and burros are in clear and present danger of extinction, and it is up to all of us who really care to change their destiny. But you must act, and act now. Thinking, oh well, thousands are calling already? They are. Or that your call doesn't matter? It does.
Think about this before you close this email message.
If you were a mare or foal, brutally removed from your wilderness home in freezing conditions, hurt, bruised, terrified and possibly dying, wouldn't you want every single person who knew about it to come to your aid any way they knew how? The answer to that must be yes.
On their behalf, we thank you.
