This weekend, August 10-12, in Gloucester New Jersey the Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge will take place. Competitors have 90 days to take wild horses from "wild to mild" for prize money.
But for one competitor the prize will be to outbid the the competition to bring her horse home.
In October of 2011 a young wild stallion was taken in a helicopter roundup from the High Rock Complex of CA/NV. The five year old stallion was trucked from the range, taken into a holding facility, gelded and then shipped cross country.
