Thanks to an amazing group of people, 21 precious burros are going to a sanctuary, after being relocated FAR from the land of their ancestors by a roundup. The total for the BLM round up at Chibola/Trigo was 350 and 18 from Chocolate mule mountian otherwise known as Pala Verde round up.
21 of the Rescued Wild Burros will be going to CIRCLE RANCH, and 9 of them will be under the care of MARJORIE FARABEE, of WILD BURRO PROTECTION LEAGUE at TODD MISSION RESCUE.

It has taken a Whole Village, including Deborah Hurley, Johnny Straitz, Christopher Gill, and Carl Mrozek, to rescue these Precious Souls, at a total expense of $8,000. Marjorie Farabee has taken the responsibility to raise the remaining $1,400 needed to bring these burros home. No matter how small a donation you can contribute, it all will help to make a giant difference in the life of one of these burros.

This barrier of Salt Cedar trees and thick reed plant blocks access to drink from the river almost everywhere along the river so BLM had a very good cover from viewers but behind this growth is a pen and a chute they drove the burros into the pen via chopper and then herded them down the second ramp to the boat. It’s the silver boat that’s the barge; the yellow is contractors and BLM security wranglers ect. and then the two little white boats are BLM patrol security and overseerers.

Speeding Away, Far away from the Home of their Ancestors after the Roundup. Notice that dense wall of reeds growing that blocks the wildlife access to the river.
