Public Hearing dates set for Nevada Wild Horse eco-sanctuary

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM)announced a schedule for public hearingon the wild horse eco-sanctuary proposed for the Elko district in Nevada.
The project has been proposed by Madeleine Pickens through her Saving Americas Mustangs Foundation in response to the BLM’s request for applications for funding to assist in the development of a wild horse holding sanctuaries. Ms. Pickens has become a vocal anti-horse slaughter advocate and is the wife of billionaire T.Boone Pickens.   Read MORE...
