Help Rancher Victims of Wallow Fire

Gila Livestock Growers Association collecting donations for hay

GLGA is working out the logistics to donate hay to ranchers with cattle and riding stock displaced by the Wallow Fire. Many have no feed left and nowhere to go.

"We don't know yet where or how we are going to get a bunch of hay that way," says Laura Schneberger of GLGA, "but believe me when I say we will - and very soon."

The link above takes you to the membership page, but if you click on the bottom link you will find a box for you to write in instructions.  Just fill in "Wallow Fire Hay" and your donation will be used for just that purpose.

This is for a PayPal payment - if you don't have a PayPal account you can still donate using a credit card.  Instructions will take you through the process.

Also, this from PACC911:

(From: Tia <volunteerpacc911@yahoo.com>)
RJ from Pet Allies and I have been talking about the need for help up north.
RJ and I both talked to Debbie from Round Valley Animal Rescue and they are needing help to set up kennels and do intake at the Fairgrounds in St. John.
They are also in need of crates and kennels along with food and bowls.
If you can help in some way please contact Debbie at 928-551-0803.
Be prepared that it is a panic situation and not much is under control yet.  Debbie is doing her best and pretty much alone.
We are in hopes that since the fire is getting worse the Humane Society is going to start helping at some point soon.
When I spoke with her she said she knew of about 100 horses they needed to get to the fairgrounds and take care of.
If you have inmore info please share it with me and I will make sure everyone gets it so we are all kept in the loop.
Thank you!

Tia
