Please help to save the Cherry Creek Wild horses who roam free in the vast desert landscape below the tiny historic old gold mining town of Cherry Creek, Nevada . They have been here for at least 8 years that I know of , they live on a mix of public and private lands, they are not destroying the ecosystem, they are not in any danger of being near a roadway , not starving, in fact there is plenty of water and abundant forage in the area. Time is of the essence for this wild horse herd, A massive roundup of approximately 1,800 wild horses including these nine is set to begin on July 2, 2011, in what is called the Triple B-Maverick Medicine HMA combing two counties White Pine County and Elko County in Eastern Nevada .
